Arrow-Verse Cast and Crew Address Sexual Harassment Allegations

Following a suite of sexual harassment allegations against Arrow, Supergirl and Flash Showrunner, Andrew Kreisberg, this week has seen cast members including Caity Lotzy, Emily Bett Rickards, Stephen Amell, and newly Grant Gustin speaking towards Kreisberg and his suspension. Following a written statement from the writing team of Legends of Tomorrow, the cast and staff of several of the shows have stressed the need for safer work environments, and being free of stress, harassment and bullying. These actions deeply impact those of writers, actors and staffers’ alike collective lives, and need to be addressed to have a chance at a future, the statement read.

Justice League Rotten Tomatoes Score Withheld

The Tuesday of November 14th would have been the release of the much-anticipated Rotten Tomatoes score for WB’s next entry in the DC Extended Universe, Justice League. Due to a new Facebook program known as See it/Skip It, Justice League’s score will be withheld until the show airs on Facebook from Rotten Tomatoes Wednesday night. See It/Skip It recently debuted their scores of Bad Moms Christmas, Thor: Ragnarok, and Murder on the Orient Express, and Justice League will be the next film to follow.

Dynamite Debuts New Red Sonja Kickstarter Campaign

Dynamite and Amanda Connor are bringing a new series of three Red Sonja stat  ues to fans courtesy of Kickstarter, celebrating the publisher’s most well-known character. Amanda Connor is one of comic’s most prolific female creators, and is will see the image of one of her many projects jump to life in a series of statue options. The campaign will run through November 28th.

 

DC Builds the Hype for Doomsday Clock

DC Comics have shipped a series of deluxe editions of their latest highly anticipated series Doomsday Clock to critics, complete in a collector’s case styled after a box of pancake mix. The series will have its review embargo lifted early to the Sunday before release to build early press coverage for the event. This event will enact a first in the DC Universe, bringing together the beloved characters of Dave Gibbons and Alan Moore’s Watchmen together with those of Batman, Superman, and many more, for the first time in history.
