The Intro: Vamplade is full of sass and power.  She’s a strong character who says exactly what’s on her mind. She’s a really fun character to follow, and the comic itself has a lot of great adult humor.

This Issue: This issue brings in some of the story from the Danger Dolls story arc Vamp seems to be returning home from her wild world-saving adventure.  But, just when she seems to think will be normal for awhile, everything seems to be becoming the same creatures she just got finished dealing with, which in this case is a horrifying concept.  At this point everyone seems to be turning for the worst, honestly becoming straight up monsters.  Even a nice night out seems to turn for the worst for poor Vamp, she really just can’t catch a break.  This issue is definitely a lead up to something much bigger, it looks like it is going to be really exciting and action packed!  I look forward to it and see what direction this story arc takes.

Final Thoughts: Overall I have really enjoyed Vampblade.  It is a lot of really fun adult humor and sarcasm, mixed with lots of action and also a nice hint of sexy.  The comics are really enjoyable and I recommend them to anyone looking for something with action and humor.  The art for Vampblade is also really fun.  Always really vibrant colors and really wonderful line work.  It is really easy on the eyes and a nice compliment to the story-telling.

Overall super fun series and a great read.
