Valiant Announces Britannia Returns in Lost Eagles of Rome

Coming this July from the talented creative team Peter Milligan and Robert Gill is Britannia: Lost Eagles of Rome. We will also see covers from artist Cary Nord, Brian Thies and David Mack in this new Valiant series.

“This story certainly builds on and adds to the two stories that have gone before it,” writer Peter Milligan told SyFy Wire. “I wanted to give a greater sense of the sheer scope of the Roman world, the Roman empire. In the first story, we see its northern border, Britain. In the second, we see its home turf. But in LOST EAGLES OF ROME, we expand eastwards, and see how the empire encompassed Egypt, too.”

The mighty eagle which is carried into battle by the Roman’s shows their strength so when these are lost after being attacked by rampaging barbarian hordes the mad Emperor will take action.

These symbols will be retrieved at any cost and it is down to Antonius Axia the empire’s finest hero of Britannia to get them back, this epic adventure will have action, blood and unexpected twist in store for our hero can he retrieve the Eagles through a dark journey into the unknown dark work of the Barbarian’s.

I for one am looking forward to seeing what surprises are in store.
