What just happened?
Starscream begins the issue jealouse of Optimus Prime with his goal uniting Earth and Cybertron believing they worship him, believing the answer to remain in charge lies in the past watch old movies.
On Earth Thundercracker, Buster and Marissa are visited by the Chosen One Starscream who enlists Thundercracker to assist him in helping understand how he can potentially win over the Earthlings.
The only way to achieve this seems to be by movie and it is quite fun seeing how they portray Starscream and his Seekers in this movie is interesting but does he come out smelling like roses as Thundercracker looks for different perspectives as he wants to deliver the truth?
Final Thoughts
There are some great moments I love Thundercracker and Skywarp remembering the past and how they first met with Starscream.
This issue I feel showed more about Thundercracker and his struggles to become a movie maker and clearly being on Earth as rubbed off as his final script is brilliant and he becomes the star.
However does this annual add to the bigger picture in the Optimus Prime series only a little bit but overall this annual could have been avoided and unless you’re a die-hard fan of this series this could be an easy skip.
But one thing that Annuals does is give you something different and this was charged with emotions, drama, and minor action
