Story so Far:

Just when we thought everything was safe, Badniks are everywhere! Sonic squares off against a multitude with Tails in tow. After taking down the threats, Sonic leaves to save the next town. There he falls straight into a mysterious enemy’s ploy! He finds Amy who knows she needs his help with the resistance, so she does whatever she can to try to recruit him. They battle together to save the civilians, just like old times, and in the end, Amy lets Sonic leave. She knows that it isn’t in his nature to stick around, and she knows that he is needed elsewhere. Our Amy has really grown up!

What Just Happened:

Sonic and Knuckles are back in action! Complete with jokes at the paperwork side of the resistance being boring, it’s like the pair never separated. A long awaited reunion is brought to us with yet another huge battle scene. Just what is going on with these very well coordinated attacks? Sonic and Knuckles climb a wall in order to get into a town taken prisoner, and they are instantly pissed at what they see. The whole town has been taken down by a couple of jerks, and that just won’t stand with them. Sonic discovers the Wisps which are alien creatures that stuck on Earth to help protect the inhabitants. Enraged at what he sees, Sonic initiates battle with none other than the fearsome duo Rough and Tumble!

I really enjoy the Sonic comics. It’s been a pleasant ride so far, and that’s really nice. There’s tons of action, and the artwork is beautiful. Sonic is perfectly in character, aka, he never sticks around and is kind of a jerk. The story is really interesting, and I can’t wait to see what the mysterious bad guy has planned. We get a hint that yet another hero will soon show her face, and it’s none other than my personal favorite, Blaze! If you like Sonic, give this series a shot. It’s pretty darn cute.

Summary
Sonic is on the case to figure out why the Badniks are back in coordination. Their attacks should have ended when Eggman was taken down, and yet... Here we are. Sonic meets up with Knuckles after Amy tells him where to go. We have an exciting battle scene full of humor, and now we wait to see where this all leads. Sonic fans, I suggest picking this up. It's pretty good.
