In This Issue:

In the Future, Thor Rules Asgard now and has three Granddaughters who are just as fiery as him in their teenage years. And they are anxious to jump through time to meet a certain Goddess of Thunder. After a few failed attempts and some spoilers into their OWN future, they finally find where they want to be. In front of Jane Foster as she is on her way to her doctor’s appointment. Turns out, the girls are huge fans and Jane’s story has inspired them, to be the Goddesses of Thunder they are and to continue fighting her cancer as she fought the Magnong. Without wanting to know her future, the girls leave but not without one final request from Jane that brings smiles to all of them.

Meanwhile Malekith the Accursed, King of the Dark Elves and Architect of the War of the Realms, is walking through his realm, making preparations. Once satisfied in his own sick way, he continues to the other realms to make sure that they are also ready. Especially now that he knows the true identity of The Mighty Thor and witnessed her death and resurrection to the sickly human she truly is.

But with the death of Thor come and gone, it’s time to get back to the war going on and that’s where this takes us back to. Which is good because of all the drama that went down we forgot a little that there was more going on. Now it’s time to get back to Malekith and his madness that started this whole thing. Knowing that the fight might not be over for Jane is interesting as well since she seems so determined to continue her personal fight.

Summary
If it isn’t obvious that Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor was inspiring to people, especially girls, you are going to feel it in this issue. And you are going to feel it in a very heartwarming way. If you aren’t convinced by the Granddaughters faces when they meet Jane, they I don’t know what else will convince you. But with Jason Aaron still at the helm of the series, you know that the action is not over, and the story must go on with Odion returning as The Mighty Thor once again!
