With both an insubordinate Bullseye and a very vengeful Venom on his trail and closing in, Hawkeye is trying to deal with his next target. One of the enemies will be successful in finding him…

Recap:
We start off with Red Skull being briefed on the activities of Bullseye and then being told possibly Hawkeye is responsible for some recent murders. We then flash to Hawkeye in a bar where he is enjoying some downtime. Unfortunately, he is attacked by Venom and a bunch of copies as was teased at the end of the last issue. Hawkeye is in the bar with the owner and a special kid. They’re engaged in combat with the bar owner dying and Hawkeye saved at the last second. We flash to Bullseye being attended to for wounds sustained in the last issue of our story. As the doc finishes up he asks for her another favor before coming under attack from some of Red Skull’s forces. Red Skull feeling betrayed by Bullseye’s reckless behavior and obsession for Hawkeye decides to take him out. Bullseye deals with the crew and talks to their sole survivor making a great cameo for the issue. At the end of the issue, Hawkeye and the kid happen upon a new settlement where he meets another character making a cameo. She asks Hawkeye about what trouble he is bringing with him.

Opinion:
I’ve been waiting on the next issue in this series for awhile now and this one didn’t disappoint. I was waiting for the inevitable confrontation between Clint and at least one of his pursuers. I think the Bullseye one will be more personal…so happy they got this one out of the way first well the first part of it. The cameos were great and was the highlight of the issue.

Summary
I’ve basically been saying the same thing since the series started. Except for an earlier issue this series has been money in my opinion. It’s literally impossible to go wrong using one of Logan’s best stories as a back drop for this. I patiently await the highly anticipated showdown between Hawkeye and Bullseye. It’s not too late to jump into this series if you’re behind or haven’t started it.
Good
  • Cameos
  • Bullseye
Bad
  • Venom fight too brief
