*News Flash* Zdarsky reveals the end of Marvel 2-In-One

With this year’s return of the Fantastic 4, many had been asking the same question. What would happen to writer Chip Zdarsky’s Marvel 2-In-One. The book that had said to be the beginning of the First Family’s arrival, had seemed to be on limited time as it had been taking place prior to Fantastic 4 #1 by Dan Slott with art by Sara Pichelli. With no clear direction as to where to take the iconic team-up book, it looks to be coming to a close.

Zdarsky who recently spoke with Newsarama, “I knew I wanted to tell a couple of personal stories between the characters for issues #11 and #12, but I really want to stay out of the way of Dan’s Fantastic Four book, so it seemed like as good a time as any to wrap it up. This, of course, coincided with developing Invaders, which feels like the spiritual successor to Marvel 2-in-One.

Invaders is the well known Marvel Comics title that Zdarsky himself is bringing back this January. The old wartime team of Captain America, Bucky now as the Winter Soldier, Prince Namor the Submariner and the original Human Torch that is not of the Fantastic 4. Be sure to look for the book’s release on January 16th at your local Comic Shop.
