Clint is at two dead with a third if we count a repentant Songbird from the last issue. His mission of revenge against his former Thunderbolt colleagues is going well with all things considered. He and Kate Bishop the only other person also called Hawkeye had a close shave when Bullseye caught up to them. They narrowly escaped and lost him on the way to their next target. The Hawkeye’s are on the way to their next member of the Thunderbolts but as usual, Bullseye is in pursuit and won’t stop until Clint and Kate are dead…

Recap:
Clint and Kate are near the Canadian border and run into the next person on the Thunderbolt roster. It’s Moonstone who is in their sights. Before they run into her though we see Bullseye who is tracking our duo across the wilderness. He seems to be on the right path and getting closer. We then go back to Moonstone who has seen better days. Unfortunately, for her, the use of her powers has taxed her body to the point that it is falling apart. She and Clint have a history as former lovers, which doesn’t seem to surprise Kate in the least. Moonstone then reveals that she is willing to kill them both as a present to the Red Skull to get back into his favor and attacks them. With some quick thinking, they’re able to fight her off. The last part of this takes us to another facility where Baron Zemo is. A new weapon is revealed to maybe turn things in his favor.

Opinion:

This was a good issue overall. I wish they did show some of the history between Moonstone and Clint on panel. I mean maybe they assumed her saying “Lover” was enough to satisfy everyone, but everyone reading this hasn’t read everything Thunderbolts related. It was still enjoyable and it’s always good seeing another Thunderbolt character.

Summary
I know for sure we haven’t seen the last of Bullseye so I expect him to find our heroes again real soon. We have another Thunderbolt member down and now we have Baron Zemo having had a new weapon revealed to him. The applications for this thing are far reaching. Will he just try to stop Clint with it? What if he tried to topple Red Skull himself with it and rule everything? Time will tell…but stay tuned for the next issue.
